Affordable Products
Wish has a lot of products to shop for and affordable too. However it needs to improve the delivery time. So far I had to get refunds for 50% of items ordered as they did not arrive even after 2 months waiting. Most of these items were from Vietnam....not very reliable.
Other than that the other 50% of items received were delivered fast. I will still recommend and shop with Wish.
Criminally poor security
I removed the Wish app from my phone after being unimpressed with the standard of product on offer. Approximately 1 year later I received an email saying: your payment is pending. We’ll process your order as soon as it clears.” It gave my old address and credit card details. I did not order this product and clearly they have a security breach. I have written to them on three occasions asking them to cancel the order. Their last communication with me said: “ due to the sensitive nature of this topic, we will have to redirect your concern to the appropriate team wish. A representative from the team will be in touch as soon as possible.”
At this point I have heard nothing further from them.
Avoid this app like the plague! I have had to cancel my credit card. Today is the first day of lockdown. How am I going to buy things?
Place to find CHEAP Items
If you wanna find cheap items, use the app. However be wary of the “hidden fees” in the form of Delivery Charges.
Cheap means quality will be and can be compromised. There are vendors who tried to delete their order after sending incorrect item (trying to eliminate negative review), luckily app support was kind to help with getting it Refunded. However, I had to provide Refund Details Twice instead of Just once (on other apps) before its recorded inside the system. Not efficient enough.
App can be better improved by allowing us to interact with the seller first before making any purchase to reduce refund cases with isn’t possible now.
