Music notes, chords & reading
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Learn to read sheet music faster with Note Sight, a focused music practice app for daily sight-reading training.
Note Sight helps piano beginners, music students, singers, instrumentalists, and self-taught musicians recognize notes on the staff, improve accuracy, and build confidence step by step. Practice treble clef and bass clef, train single notes and chords, play with both hands, and track your progress over time.
Open a session, see a note or chord, and answer in the way that fits your practice: tap the on-screen piano keyboard, play on a connected MIDI instrument, or use microphone listening for supported note and chord recognition. Short exercises make it easy to build a daily music habit and improve your reading speed.

Ratings & Reviews

This update makes daily practice clearer and weak spot training more accurate.
Practice modes on the home screen now show how many sessions you completed today, with a highlighted card for modes already practiced. Weak Spot Review now remembers accidental mistakes more precisely, including sharps and flats, and can bring them back for practice even if they are outside the current note range.
Instrument practice also got better feedback: chords and two-hand exercises now show which notes were played correctly, keep the remaining notes visible, and save mistaken extra notes for future review.
