Daily companion
The Bible app is a wonderful source of wisdom, encouragement and daily devotionals. Bible study can be very efficient with notes, comments and highlighting. For those who do not know what to read there is Verse of the day with wonderful short videos and readings. There is a daily plan for each situation whether you are sad, full of faith, dicouraged or just interested. You can set your remainders for reading or prayer and you can do it alone or with friends. App is easy to use and it allows you to connect with more and more churches.
Really Good!
I left my Christianity few years ago but upon coming back because I was interested to learn about the love of God, this app really helped me. It has bunch of cool stuff that you can do including reading plans that will help you in your relationship with God :) my favorite is probably the daily verses and their explanation by the people on there. I’m not very good at English so I’m thankful the Bible app has many other languages to choose from.
Some annoying bugs there
There are several bugs:
1) The app is incredibly slow on loading while connected to internet. Even if I don't want to see the homepage (i just want to read), it won't allow me to do anything, but for about a minute or two.
2) The app behaves differently on portrait and landscape when reading plan. I think portrait view behaves more user-friendly. I found two differences:
a) On landscape there is no back button, so I can get back to the plan. On portrait there is.
b) When you finish the last chapter of the plan for the day, on portrait you go back to the plan, but on landscape you get to reading mode.
3) I finished a plan, but it's still in active plans, not moved into finished plans section.
4) It's impossible for me to write an email to your tech support. Your web page refers to app -> More -> Help, where is a button for it, but the text on it is grey and pressing it does nothing.
