in love
nana.tee
absolutely in love with Procreate! i was not apple user at all but youre the reason why i decided to buy an ipad. i drawn with wacom for few years but this is so much better solution. i have just one suggestion - dont you thinking also about version for vector drawing? sending a lot of love & good choices ! ❤️
Developer Response
Hi nana.tee - Thanks so much for your kind words! 🥰
I do like it, i’d just want some features
pls make it
Alright, PLEASE add an easy way do make shapes, polygons and those lines that I can edit by pulling the points on it and they form this long curvy line. I know that there is a quick shape feature, but I’d like to have an entire tool dedicated for shapes. The quick shape also sometimes does this weird glitch where the shape is made out of small circles and it looks bad.And also, I’d like to have a “Drawing Stabilizer”. It is already in ibisPaint, and it basically straightens out wobbly lines and helps you draw more straight lines. It has an adjustable slider from 0 meaning no stabilization to your drawing and every single movement is registered, to 10, which basically makes small bumps on a line non-existent.Otherwise, this app has a good set of other tools, an intuitive UI and simple file system. 4/5(If any of the features are already in the app, please let me know)

Hi pls make it - We're always trying to make Procreate even better and suggestions like yours always help us in achieving this, so thank you for passing them on to us. If this is a function you would like to see in a future version, we would suggest showing support for this idea at our Ideas & Suggestions Board (folio.procreate.art/discussions/3), where we pick highly frequented discussions to be considered for development. We're very active on these boards and always have an eye on what users want in Procreate.
Color picking too impractical
Nevibya
I wanted to love this app, I really did, but color picking is so badly done it ruins the whole process. Other apps let you color pick when you hold down your pen for a split second, easy and natural. Not procrate. You either have to push a tiny rectangle with your left hand, or put your left hand on screen and do it with a finger. Both make you stop your flow! The rectangle is so tiny you need to look at it to know where it is and to put your finger on screen you have to move your pen away first and it’s not even accurate!Very bad design for a painting app, completely unusable for someone who wants to paint, not sketch.
Developer Response
Hi Nevibya - Thanks for your review. In the past, you could hold the Pencil down in Procreate to invoke the Eyedropper, but we opted to remove this feature because the high pressure sensitivity of the Pencil was causing this to be invoked accidentally. You might like to head to the Prefs tab of your Actions Menu and select QuickMenu, then set this to Touch. Now, exit this menu and touch on your canvas to summon the QuickMenu. tap and hold one of the options, then change this to Eyedropper. Now you should be able to quickly swipe with your finger in the direction of the Eyedropper to invoke it. This might be a quicker way for you to grab colours off the canvas with your Pencil. We hope this helps, but be sure to let us know if you have any questions!
OK. We went too far. This update sharpens the corners of your Gallery thumbnails. It also calms down the height of Animation and Page Assist and fixes an issue in 3D painting where you couldn't import meshes without normals.
Remember that all your custom brushes are available in the Classic Library by pinching the brush panel, or tapping the Procreate Library title.
