Joker Chaos Timer is the anti-Pomodoro. Instead of rigid 25-minute blocks,
you set a range — say, 15 to 45 minutes — and then you let go. The Joker
decides when your session ends. Could be soon. Could be a while. You won't
know until it happens.
That's the point.
WHY CHAOS WORKS
Traditional timers create a false comfort. You glance at the clock, see
18 minutes left, and your brain checks out early. With Joker Chaos Timer,
there's nothing to glance at. No countdown. No progress bar. Just you,
your work, and the lurking knowledge that it could end any second — or not.
Psychologists call this variable interval reinforcement. Slot machines use
it. Now your focus sessions do too.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Set your minimum and maximum session length
2. Hit start — the Joker picks a random end time within your range
3. Work. Forget the clock. Stay present.
4. When the Joker is done with you, he'll let you know.
