* New: Cached Locations When you’re using the Tap view, the app can automatically record your current time and location. This helps you capture meaningful moments and reminds you to add important tap-notes. Location is only recorded while the Tap view is open. All cached locations are fully visible in a new section of the Tap Entity view. * New: GPS Display Format (DMS) You can now choose to display location coordinates in Degrees, Minutes, and Seconds (DMS) format. * Bug Fixes & Improvements Fixed several issues that could cause the app to crash, improving overall stability. * Export Feature Temporarily Disabled The export feature is currently unavailable as we work on an improved version for a future release.

This is a major update. * The app name has been changed from "TapToCount-3W" to "TapMyNotes". * The user interface has been overhauled to make it easier to use. * A template framework of tap entities and tap items is provided for the first-time user. This allows the user to experiment with the app and learn about its functions and features. After fully understanding the app's functionality, users are encouraged to redefine the framework based on their interests. * Some bugs and crashes have been fixed. Thanks for using TapMyNotes! This version 1.4.5 is ready for update. The following are some new features and updates: 1. Support Dark Mode in iOS 13. 2. Fixed a bug: Tap Entity with 0 Tap Items are not displayed in edit view. This update will display it so that user can add tap items anytime. 3. Edit tap item is accessible. This was a bug and tap item's name and note cannot be changed. Now tap on tap item's right side icon i, and the edit view is displayed. 4. This update removed split view feature. This one is very confusing when user changes view from portrait to landscape view. Some view items were not properly displayed. 5. Fixed a bug in Export view. Tap information was not included in export. Now all tap information are in the export. 6. In app settings, add a flag to add or not add copy/move information in notes. This can be seen in TapToCount-3W settings from Settings. User can change this flag on or off. 7. Export tap information includes data source type: tap, copy or move. 8. Fixed a bug in tap action views: search are not available. The update fixed this problem so user can get search feature when the view is pulled down. 9. Enhanced feature: when there are many items in a view, for example, tap view. The up and down buttons are removed and it is simplified to one button in the middle of view. Tap on this button will be easy to move up to the top or to the bottom. 10. Fixed a bug in search for dates. Sometimes, the popup view for dates can not be displayed. This bug is fixed. 11. Fixed a bug: changes in note in map view are not refreshed. The update will refresh note in map view if note is changed.

We are very pleased to announce that the new version of 1.4.2 is available. This update includes some new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. * Note editing has been further enhanced. The edit/view button in the top-right corner has been moved up outside of the text edit frame. This makes it is easier to edit and view notes, without blocking any text. * There was screen jump up and down behaviour when editing tap item’s notes. This update prevents this jumping behaviour. When the note for an tap item is changed to edit mode, the screen will keep in smooth view. * The map view of taps has been further enhanced. There are two more buttons to allow view annotation pins, or routes, or both. * A new app setting of “Minimum user distance” is added so that in map view, when user’s location has been changed far away than this minimum distance, an annotation pin is added with a route connection. This makes it easy to view user’s location changes. Note that those user location changes only can be viewed in map view, and those changes will be gone if the map view is dismissed. This new feature can be extended to new features in coming updates. * Fixed some bugs and potential crashes.

This update includes the following changes or enhancements: * In edit mode, all text fields are enhanced with a clear button at the trailing side for easy clearing text. * For editing notes: add button in the top right corner for viewing or editing note. In view status, all the detectable text such phone number, date time, address, web link, email etc are auto-detectable. For example, a web link will make it easy to jump to the web when you tap on the link. * New location button is added to tap's location property view so that users can tap on this button to open Map app with this location being displayed. * In tap action view, two actions are added to each tap item row: one for default tap note, which make it possible to pre-define tap note; and another one is the last tap note, which makes it easy and quick to bring up the last tap note for editing. * In tap action view, the toolbar button for location will show a view of location address or place name. If the address is accurate to the geo-location coordinates within 100m, the address name is displayed; otherwise, the place name is displayed. This location name is based on iOS reverse coding service to get address or place name. Note: this process requires data/wifi connection since GIS database information is huge. * Updated copy/move action, only the new copied or moved item's note will be updated with copy/move information. In other words, the copy/move item's parent notes are not changed (the previous version also updates parent’s notes). * Fixed some bugs: when search condition is set, and there is only one item in the view, editing this item may cause crash if the updated information does not match the search condition.

A new enhancement of copy/move items is added to TapToCount-3W app. For example, copy/move tap entities, tap items and/or taps from one place to another or a new place. Preparation In the edit tab of the main screen, first choose an item which can be added to the internal cache, for example, select a tap entity(same for the case of a tap item or a tap). The following are steps. * Just swipe a row in table view, and tap on the action option of "Copy/Move". The item can also be removed from the cache by swipe on its row, and an option of "Clear Copy/Move" is available if it is in the cache. * After one or more items(repeat above step) are added to the internal cache, a button with an icon(plus sign and an arrow to the right), indicating copy/move, will be displayed. * Drag this button over rows in the table view. The row by hovered icon will be marked as a selection if the row could be as a destination for copy/move. Copy/Move * Tap on the copy/move button, a popup view will be displayed. In the view, There is an option you can choose: copy or move. * The popup view also explains where the copy/move can be done, for example, to an existing place (selected row) or to a new place. * Notice that, when copying or moving items, only unique items can be copied or moved. For example, a tap item can not be copied or moved if a same tap item name exists in the cache or in the destination. For taps, they cannot be copied or moved to a place where the same tap dates exist, or more than one taps in the cache have the same dates. * When tap entity or tap item is copied, any child content such tap entity's tap items, tap item' taps are also copied. The same applies to a move. As explained above, only unique items are copied or moved. A warning message may be displayed to explain that any duplication exists, and you have a choice to copy or move other unique items. With this new feature, it makes the management of taps much easier and flexible. It also makes it possible to have the same taps in many different places. We believe this feature will enrich your own tap entities and tap items for future reviews. As you will find out, this feature is very easy to use. Still, we strongly recommend you to create some test tap entities and tap items to try it out before you make actual copy or move of your content, just to make sure that you get what you expected, don't lose any valuable information you have already collected.

* Added tap information about time and location for all taps. This feature is similar as the previous tap information between the current time and last tap. This feature applies to all taps in the tap list view. This feature is available for tap list view in the tap action tab. * Added sort feature to all table list views. User have choice to sort list by optional choices such as name, tap count or last tap item. The choices varies depending on list views of tap entities, tap items and taps. Prior to this update, the sort order is set by app. Now users have choice to list sort order. This feature is available by pulling the top item in a list view. * Improved the map view for taps. Different colours are used to indicate altitude changes. Red colour for ascending, green colour for descending and cyan colour for almost the same. Significant change is based on the rule of: distance of two taps larger than 30 metres, and altitude change larger than 1%. * Add dynamic height feature to tap list view. This feature will make some iOS devices easy to read tap date and time information in case they are truncated in narrow views. Due to potential large amount of tap’s note, it’s dynamic content in table list view can be displayed up to only 2 lines. * Fixed some bugs. We greatly appreciate you using TapToCount-3W app. We will constantly update the app with further enhancements and new features, as well as fixing bugs when detected. 1. In tap view: All tap items are sorted by date as default. In other words, the most taped items are displayed at the top. This makes most tapped items easy to access. 2. Tap list view: When taps exceed 30, a move-up or move-down button will be displayed. This makes jumping to the top or the bottom much easier (instead of scrolling). 3. Searching for tap notes and dates will be carried into detail views. For example, if a search for tap date is set in top view, the view content, when drill down to detail views, will be limited to the searching date. This makes the search and navigation more logical. 4. The search content will be kept as in the previous set. For example, if you are searching for a specific tap entity name, containing text "test", the next time you bring up the search bar, the scope will be for tap entity name and the search text "test" will show as the initial search. If you set search for a date, that date will show up as the initial date in the next search. 5. Search date will be limited to the dates of all available taps for the current view content. The search date picker is in three columns: year, month, and date with the option of weekdays. This change makes searching for dates much easier. 6. In tap action view: There is an info button available for each tap item. The info button provides information and status since the last tap for this tap item: duration, distance, pace, and altitude. With this information, you have a peek view of its current status before making a tap. 7. In report view: There is an option to report only content met search conditions. This way, the report can be narrowed to down to only contents of interest. 8. Fixed some bugs. We greatly appreciate you using TapToCount-3W app, as well as your support and patience.
