This program demonstrates Ohm's law and the voltage-current law, allowing you to enhance your hands-on skills through interactive operations.
The invention of electricity is one of the greatest in human history. It has not only provided various powerful mechanical powers but also enriched human life with diverse information communication and presentation methods, as well as intelligent information processing and control technologies. Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Voltage and Current Laws are fundamental principles in electricity and essential knowledge for beginners. This program demonstrates Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Voltage and Current Laws in circuits, allowing users to learn about circuit connections by hands-on experience with batteries, light bulbs, rheostats, ammeters, and voltmeters. By observing and measuring current and voltage in various circuit configurations such as series, parallel, and combined series-parallel connections, users can enhance their understanding of circuit connections. This program is suitable for primary and secondary school students, electrical enthusiasts, and physics lovers to learn, understand, and review circuit knowledge while exercising hands-on experimental skills. It can also be used as a classroom demonstration tool for physics and electrical teachers. Of course, this program can also serve as a leisure activity: watch the old tungsten filament light bulbs gradually light up, feel the warmth and flicker of the light, experience the joy of measuring current and voltage with traditional ammeters and voltmeters, and perform short-circuit experiments to see the excitement of wires glowing red...
The main functions of this program include:
1. Batteries, light bulbs, rheostats, and connecting wires: Connect batteries, light bulbs, and rheostats with red or black wires. The battery will light up the bulb, and the brightness of the bulb depends on the current passing through it.
2. Voltmeter: Connect the voltmeter across any circuit to read the voltage value at both ends of the circuit. The voltmeter has two ranges: 3V and 15V.
3. Ammeter: Connect the ammeter in series with any circuit to read the current value of the current circuit. The ammeter has two ranges: 0.6A and 3A.
4. Magnifying glass: When you touch the screen with your finger (except for the slider of the rheostat), a magnifying glass will appear above your finger to magnify the screen at that location. The magnifying glass moves with your finger, allowing you to observe the position of terminal blocks for inserting wires or to read the values on the voltmeter or ammeter.
5. Series, parallel, and any other connections: You can connect circuit elements in any way, including series, parallel, and combined series-parallel connections. The distribution of current and voltage in the circuit conforms to Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Voltage and Current Laws.
6. Short circuit: When a short circuit occurs in the circuit connection, the corresponding connecting wire will glow red due to excessive current, emitting red light.
