The warm weather seems set to stay, and this release is hot off the press. In it, we've introduced the ability to request time off in lieu (TOIL) from the 'My Leave' tab. You can also now view all active and past TOIL records, including both TOIL accrued from exception reports or for other reasons. Let us know how we're doing by emailing help@patchwork.health.

New filter panel on Team Rota screen containing: Grade filter, workers can now choose the shift grade they want to see Show activity names toggle, workers can view what activities are assigned to the shift. If there are no activities assigned they will see the the time of the shift by default.

The horizontal calendar has been replaced with a bigger, better and altogether clearer calendar in the top-right corner, making it easy to navigate between dates to view your upcoming shifts. Get ready for a Halloween treat! Our engineers have conjured a magical spell with this latest version of shift swaps. You are now able to view and select 'like for like' filled shifts directly in the mobile app. Spot a shift that better suits your schedule? Simply propose a swap to your colleague in a few clicks. If they accept, your rota coordinator will then be notified for final approval — making shift swaps faster and easier than ever before. Let us know how we're doing by emailing help@patchwork.health.

The weather might be getting colder, but our engineers have been huddled together building this toasty update; the second version of shift swaps is here! You are now able to view and select a "like for like" vacant shift in the mobile app. If there's a vacant shift that you're interested in, you can propose a swap in a click of a button to your rota coordinator for approval. The Olympics may be over, but our engineers are still going for gold with this update; the first version of shift swaps is here! You are now able to see potential "like for like" shifts in the mobile app. For now you still need to organise all swaps with the rota coordinator outside of the Patchwork system using your usual processes.
