This latest version is all about adding "juice" to our lesson experience. On iPhone and Apple TV, we added much better sounds and haptic effects. And there are some fun particle effects and even a screen shake. They're all configurable in the settings section. Here are a handful of other fixes and updates: • Shake your phone during a lesson to shuffle the order of interactives • The app icon has a badge to show how many reviews are due • Typed answers are graded more fairly, so typing "8" still counts if the answer is "eight" • A magnifier shows where you're placing a label on image occlusions • Usability fixes, like making sure a toast message doesn't block buttons

This version includes some major new upgrades for incorporating visuals. When creating flashcards, you can now fetch a photo or generate a sketch. So for language learning you can have a flashcard that shows "un chat" on the front and then a generated sketch of a cat on the back. Or if you're studying Art History you can show a photo of the Mona Lisa on the front and then the name of the work on the back. - Image occlusion lessons now support automated finding for the labels, so the creation is considerably less tedious. - After creating interactives, there's a much clearer UX for what to do next. - While reviewing a card, there's now a button to create a reverse version of the card. - And all the new features are supported in the Ask agent mode too.

This version includes major upgrades for the new "Ask" mode, which is useful when you want to ask questions while learning or create new content based on your existing materials. • Ask mode chats are now available on several screens: Plan, Create, Learn, Lesson, and Progress. • On the Plan screen, it's useful for extending your curriculum with new subjects, goals, etc. • On the Lesson screen, it's useful for asking general clarifying questions about the content you're studying. • Most importantly, it has tools to query your existing content and create new interactives. For example, if you're studying Newton's second law of motion, you can ask "Do I already have interactives for Newton's other laws? If not, let's create flashcards for them." And it just works! This update also adds PostHog for product analytics. It was already instrumented in our web application, and now this helps us improve our native applications as well.

• This version includes a new "Ask" feature. You can ask it to create subjects and interactives, or ask anything about what you're learning. • There is also a new audio button on flashcards that will read the card's content aloud. It now works on web, iOS, and tvOS. • Generated lessons now support math equations and syntax-highlighted code, so science and programming subjects come through cleanly.

This new version fixes a lot of usability issues and bugs for interactive lessons: • Every interactive now shows the Subject it belongs to for context. • Added the ability to change an interactive from one subject to another. • When creating flashcards, there's a new checkbox to create a reverse version of the card. This is helpful for language learning and vocabulary cards. • You can now pinch to zoom in on a flashcard content, which is helpful especially for studying paintings. • Answer choices are shuffled, so the answer isn't accidentally showing up as the first option. • The biggest fix was to the Markdown rendering engine. Math and code syntax are now displayed more reliably. And issues with fill-in-the-blanks and input interactives are fixed. • Fixed a bug where updating a Goal would accidentally shift the position. • Prevent the image upload affordances above the keyboard from blocking content. • Made the confetti animation consistently fire when completing a lesson.
