Enter the World of The Elder Scrolls: Blades

This stunning fantasy is made for mobile.

Like the revered Elder Scrolls games for PC and console, Blades is a beautifully rendered first-person role-playing game—but this time it’s designed expressly for iPhone and iPad. From the controls to the combat, this immersive trek stays true to its roots, while being streamlined enough to play with one hand.

It wouldn’t be a dungeon without growling enemies. And lots of loot.

Blades takes place in Tamriel, the lush fantasyland where fans of Skyrim and other Elder Scrolls adventures have roamed far and wide. You’re an agent of the Empire who’s been forced into exile—and return home to find it totally destroyed.

Your quest takes you from remote caves to bustling town squares.

In the game’s story mode, you’ll embark on quests and rebuild your town. But that’s only part of the fun.

Blades also offers the Abyss, an endless dungeon that grows increasingly perilous as you fight your way through. And an Arena mode pits you against other players in thrilling, real-time duels.

There’s nowhere to run in the Arena. Here’s where you prove your mettle.

Though Elder Scrolls games are known for their depth and intricacy, Blades feels remarkably accessible. To walk to a certain area, simply tap it. Swipe to look around. And to swing your sword while fighting wights and goblins, just hold and release. Onscreen buttons let you block, shield-bash, or hurl lightning bolts.

Customize your character’s look, skills, and abilities.

Blades launches later this year, but you can pre-order it now to start your adventure the moment it arrives.
