What we love: The sense of accomplishment. There’s little room for error in each randomly generated level; the blame’s squarely on your shoulders when you get squashed by a meat grinder for the 12th time in a row. But perseverance pays off, and it feels great when you finally beat a gruesome boss. Plus, watching hilarious replays of your finished run—complete with all your fabulous failures—never gets old.

Quick tip: Your character moves at a pretty quick clip, but to have a chance at hitting tough goal times, practice punch dashing even when there’s nothing to punch. The move generates enough extra speed to chop your times down significantly.
