What we love: A Little to the Left makes getting organized fun. Over various relaxing levels, you might be asked to straighten pictures on a wall, stack paperwork, or rearrange books on a shelf. Once your task is complete, the game gives a satisfying ding of approval. You’ll also find additional Daily Tidy puzzles to enjoy and a cute but meddlesome cat, who shows up from time to time to cause some furry chaos.

Quick tip: Be patient! It isn’t always immediately obvious what each puzzle is asking you to do, so don’t be afraid to try different things—experimentation is a big part of the game. If you’re still struggling, you can get a hint or skip a level entirely with the Let It Be option.

Meet the creator: Co-founders Annie Macmillan and Lukas Steinman recalled the nickname for their old meeting place when christening developer Max Inferno in 2021. The studio, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, took further inspiration from a mischievous cat and time spent stuck at home during the pandemic while creating A Little to the Left. Helped by publisher Secret Mode, the pair released their tranquil tribute to tidying up in 2022.
