*** First use ? ***

After downloading the application, create your account on the QISTA app. Do you already have a QISTA user account? Enter the same username and password you use on the qista.com website.

If not already done so, contact the QISTA experts for advice on the optimal position of the SMART BAM in your outdoor space.

Then associate your mosquito trap with your application using the QR Code on your device.

You are now ready to operate your mosquito trap through your app!


*** Monitor your QISTA trap via the app***

First and foremost, make sure you have the decoy box and CO2 bottle for the proper functioning of your trap.

Take control of your SMART BAM units and program your mosquito trap at the time slots recommended by our biologists. We suggest you use the pre-registered programs for "traditional mosquitoes" or "tiger mosquitoes".

Control your traps individually or in groups.

Check the status of your consumables in real time, and update their levels after each replacement!

Consult mosquito capture statistics for each of your traps, as well as a detailed history.

*** Why QISTA ? ***

In addition to the traditional mosquitoes that have been around for millennia to spoil our moments of outdoor relaxation, we are increasingly noticing the presence of other mosquitoes, especially the tiger mosquito, capable of transmitting viral diseases such as Zika, Dengue or Malaria, heightening fears of being bitten.

Today, to combat the proliferation of mosquitoes and the exponential increase in bites, QISTA offers an innovative, intelligent solution that is safe for both humans and the environment.


*** How does the SMART BAM work ? ***

Each female mosquito can lay up to 200 eggs every 48 hours, and needs blood to bring them to maturity. This is the reason why she bites. Capturing these prey-seeking female mosquitoes not only prevents them from biting, but also breaks their reproductive cycle. This limits the number of mosquitoes present in the protected area, and consequently the number of bites. Independent scientific studies show an 88% drop in mosquito bites within a 60m radius of QISTA traps. Mosquitoes are primarily attracted to human or other mammal breath and certain molecules produced by the body. Based on a principle of prey imitation, the Qista anti-mosquito solution simulates human presence to attract and trap female mosquitoes. To do so, the device diffuses a mix of olfactory lures and recycled CO2 at regular intervals, replicating our natural breathing process. Once the female mosquito has been attracted close enough to the device, she is sucked inside and captured.
