Plant-care reminders were arriving in a clump shortly after you opened the app, then staying quiet in between. They now arrive once, at 9am, on the day something is actually due — and anything already overdue waits for the next morning instead of repeating every time the app is opened. The day's reminders are also grouped together rather than listed one per plant.

Fixes and clearer messages: • Signing in with Apple no longer fails if you tap the button twice. • Running out of monthly plant identifications now tells you exactly that, with the option to upgrade — instead of wrongly asking you to sign in when you already were. • Error messages across the app now explain what happened in plain English. • Corrected the Pro description so it lists exactly what a subscription includes.

Care reminders now keep going on their own. Previously your reminders were only topped up when you opened the app, so they could go quiet after the first one arrived. BotanicBuddy now schedules your watering and feeding reminders well ahead of time, and every plant gets its next reminder before any plant gets a second one. The buttons on a reminder work too: "I watered it" logs the care straight from the notification, and "Remind tomorrow" pushes it back a day.

• Plants saved from a scanned tag now arrive without the app asking for notification permission before you've seen anything. • Fixed a case where a plant saved from a tag could be lost if the app couldn't reach the network on first launch.

Scan a plant tag and see its care guide instantly — no download needed. • Plant tags now open a lightweight App Clip. Tap once to save the plant, and it's already in your collection when you open the app. • Adding a plant from the guide keeps its photograph. • Various fixes to plant photos and the plant browser.

A much bigger plant guide, and a browser that actually shows it. • Browse plants now lists the whole encyclopedia — over 300 species with photographs and care details — instead of a handful of featured entries. It loads as you scroll and opens instantly from a cached first page. • Choosing a plant now shows its photo, description and light, water and care needs before you add it. • Plants added from the guide keep their photograph instead of showing a placeholder. • Fixed plant photos overflowing their cards on the My Plants screen. • Fixed a spurious "couldn't load plants" message while typing a search.

• Identify plants without an account — your first three are free. • When identification is unavailable, the app now explains why instead of showing "Server error 503". • Fixed text that was unreadable for anyone using dark mode. • If BotanicBuddy has just added a plant to your collection, it may ask what you think of it.

Improved security around the App Reviewer demo sign-in path. Fixed plant photos not attaching when adding via Identify or Add Manually. Plant identification now shows the common name alongside the scientific name.
