There is no day of the year on which a saint or feast is not celebrated. This app provides a comprehensive listing of the Orthodox Christian saints and feasts celebrated each day of the year according to the Julian calendar.
- Defaults to Today’s Date: When the app is launched it will by default display the list of saints for today’s date.
- Civil and Liturgical Date: All dates in the app show both the civil dates we use in our daily lives, and the liturgical (Julian) dates used by the Orthodox Church. Users can search by either date.
- Feasts & Fasts: The dates of feasts, fasts, and fast-free periods for a given calendar year are available in the app for your convenience.
- Search by Saint Name: An additional capability of the app is a searchable list of over 5,000 names of saints including the date they are celebrated, and a link to lives of select saints.
