iPhone
The IOS browser with DevTools built in — Console, Network, Storage, Elements. Now with refreshed privacy controls and clear opt-in choices.
DevSnoop is a full web browser with developer tools built in — on your iPhone. Inspect any page, debug any site, and replay any fetch without reaching for your laptop.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Console Live log stream with filter chips for error / warn / info, keyword search, and a JavaScript REPL so you can evaluate expressions against the current page. Smart-quote autocorrect is disabled so the code runs exactly the way you typed it.
Network Intercepts every request the page makes. fetch() and XMLHttpRequest calls capture full headers and bodies; static resources (CSS, scripts, images, fonts, manifest, the main document) are surfaced via the Resource Timing API. Tap any row to load its full response body on demand.
Elements Walk the live DOM tree, expand nested elements, and tap to highlight any node directly on the rendered page. Useful for tracking down stray z-indexes or unexpected CSS inheritance.
Storage Read and edit localStorage, sessionStorage, and cookies — with full per-cookie metadata (domain, path, expiry, secure, HTTP-only, SameSite). Change a session token, refresh, see what breaks.
BROWSER ESSENTIALS
— Tabs with private (incognito) mode using a non-persistent WebKit data store. Nothing written to disk. — Tab session restoration on next launch. — Bookmarks, browsing history, and an editable Quick Access grid (long-press a tile to rename, change URL, or delete). — Search engine choice: Google, DuckDuckGo, or Bing. — Clear browsing data selectively — history, cookies and site data, or cache. — Full support for the modern web APIs sites expect: getUserMedia (camera and microphone), navigator.geolocation, and WebKit-backed media playback. — Pull-to-refresh, smart offline error pages, and a mail-app chooser so links open in the app you actually use.
PRIVACY
— Your browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs, and Quick Access shortcuts are stored only on your device. — No user accounts, no behavioural analytics, no advertising SDKs. — Crash reports go to Sentry for stability monitoring — they never include URLs, page content, or personal data. — Incognito tabs leave no trace. — Full privacy policy: devsnoop.app
Built for the developer who needs to debug a payment flow on a customer's WiFi, the QA engineer testing a release candidate on a personal device, and anyone who's wished mobile Safari had a real DevTools panel. If that's you — DevSnoop is for you.
