Just tell Onit — or forward an email, DM Telegram. It extracts the date, nudges persistently, and resurfaces before the window closes.
Onit is a self-scheduling follow-up app. Tell it what matters — "renegotiate insurance before March 15," "finish marketing content in 2 weeks," "renew domain in 6 weeks" — and Onit follows up with you on the right schedule until it's done.
Type it directly, forward any email to your @mail.getonit.dev alias, or DM the Onit Telegram bot. Onit extracts the deadline and the action-by date automatically, then nudges you persistently before the window closes — so nothing gets buried.
Think of it as a note to self that follows up for you.
Works with: manual entry · forward-email alias (always on) · Telegram bot (always on) · Gmail read-only (beta add-on).
WHAT ONIT FOLLOWS UP ON
Insurance renewals. Software subscriptions (Notion, Adobe, Figma, JetBrains, AWS, Slack, GitHub, Linear). Streaming services (Netflix, Spotify, Disney+). Domain renewals (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare). Tax obligations. Loan payments. Medical bills. Contract renewals with notice periods. Rent. Memberships. Dentist appointments. Parking permit expirations. Work follow-ups someone is waiting on. Anything with a deadline you cannot afford to miss.
THE WINDOW YOU DID NOT KNOW YOU HAD
An insurance renewal email arrives. The negotiation window closes thirty days before the due date. By the time the invoice lands, the leverage is already gone.
Onit knows the window by category. Software subscriptions: 7 days. Domain renewals: 14 days. Insurance and contracts: 30 days. Appointments: enough lead time to reschedule. Onit fires before the window closes, not after.
HOW CAPTURE WORKS
Type it the way you would say it. "Finish marketing content in 2 weeks." "Pay rent on the 5th." "Follow up with the contractor in 10 days." Onit picks the deadline and the action-by date automatically — no date picker, no setup.
Forward any email to your personal @mail.getonit.dev alias. Onit extracts the obligation, the due date, and the action date from the message.
Message the Onit Telegram bot the way you would message a person. Works from any device, any thread, instantly.
Gmail read-only beta: connect your inbox and Onit watches for actionable messages in the background. (Capped beta — limited spots available.)
HOW SELF-SCHEDULING WORKS
Every follow-up moves through five levels based on how far you are from the deadline. Quiet far out (bi-weekly), gentle as it approaches (weekly), persistent in the final stretch (every 3 days), urgent in the last days (daily), and overdue if you miss it. Quiet hours respected.
Each nudge arrives with two choices: Done and Snooze. There is no Dismiss. That is the whole follow-up model — Onit holds what you asked it to follow up on until you have actually handled it.
PRIVACY
Read-only and forward-only. Onit cannot send, modify, or delete your messages. Full message bodies are never stored — only a 500-character snippet. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. No analytics SDKs, no advertising IDs. One-tap disconnect deletes everything within 24 hours.
We never train models on your messages. We never sell your data.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Reminder apps wait for you to remember to create the reminder. Note-taking tools store but never resurface on a deadline. Subscription trackers tell you after the charge lands.
Onit follows up with you — on a schedule it picks based on the deadline and the type of obligation. Quiet when there is nothing to do. Loud when the window matters.
Done or Snooze. Never Dismiss.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app has not received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This update reframes Onit around what it actually does: self-scheduling follow-ups. Tell it what matters, forward an email, or DM the Telegram bot — Onit picks the right schedule and nudges you before the window closes.
What's new:
- New name: Onit: Keep Life on Track
- Self-scheduling follow-ups — Onit picks the nudge schedule based on the deadline, not on a fixed interval
- Forward-email alias and Telegram bot are now the featured input channels, always on, no caps
- Gmail stays available as a read-only beta add-on
- Nudges now fire before the action window closes, not just on the due date
- Done and Snooze directly from your lock screen — no need to open the app
- Quiet hours respected (default 22:00–08:00, customizable)
If you have been using Onit since launch — thank you. Your follow-ups are still there.
