Turnip Boy Robs a Bank

Steal cash – and hearts – in comically chaotic heists.

The rascally rutabaga is back! In Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, the mischievous anti-hero of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion plants himself in a whole new field of trouble. Team up with veggie mobsters to raid the Botanical Bank for dough and wacky weapons such as the Pineapple Pitcher or Slap Bass. (That’s a giant fish, not a guitar.)

What we love: The delicious mix of top-down action and side-splitting humour. Helping kooky characters complete nefarious deeds – such as vandalising paintings for a graffiti artist or delivering divorce papers for Old Lady Lime – is as entertaining as it is underhanded.

The Botanical Bank is huge, weird and full of secrets... including hidden rooms with rock-candy monsters!

Quick tip: For more lucrative heists, increase the jammer time and upgrade your money-bag capacity when you visit Robo-Rafael at your base. (Curious about the bagged milk? Buy it to get an explosive sidekick!)

Meet the creator: Based in Massachusetts, indie developer Snoozy Kazoo has a self-proclaimed goal: “Make small, short and dumb-as-heck games to provide people an escape to the goofier side of life.” Turnip Boy Robs a Bank started out as Turnip Boy Steals Artwork, but the team decided a game about bank robbery had more of the heist vibe they were after.
