Description

The MeinBezirk App of RegionalMedien Austria offers you a completely new, unique possibility to consume current news from every district and province in Austria - without a newspaper, simply on your smartphone - regional, anytime and anywhere.

We focus on the essentials so that you can quickly reach your goal: current news from your region. No matter if you are in Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Styria, Tyrol, Carinthia, Salzburg, Vorarlberg or Burgenland - with the MeinBezirk App you can get the latest events in your district. This way you can simply stay closer to your region!

How it works:
- Select district. Select one or more districts according to your personal interests, and the latest 70 articles will be displayed.
- Swiping. The articles appear as individual teasers. Swiping will take you from one article to the next. If you swipe to the right, the article will be marked with "Later". If you swipe to the left, the article will be discarded.
- Read it. By clicking on the article or by swiping upwards, you can go directly to the reading view. The buttons "Next", "Read", "Later" are redundant with the swiping movements and can be used alternatively.

The focus of the MeinBezirk App is clearly on the content from all districts in Austria and its clear presentation. To facilitate the information search and the daily consumption of local news 24 hours a day and to give you a regional and in short time an up-to-date picture of the latest events in politics, economy, culture, sports and leisure in your region - that is our goal. News - as fast and concentrated as an espresso!

Features:
- Article list. The article list provides you with an overview of all currently available news in MeinBezirk. Depending on how you have rated the articles, they are arranged from top to bottom: "Later", "Read", "Next" and below that all articles that have not yet been displayed to you. Items that you have marked with "Later" will be stored in your article list for four weeks, even if you change your district selection.
- Bookmark. A click on the bookmark symbol opens an additional list - the list of all permanently saved items. Only with the bookmark function, you can save an article in the MeinBezirk App for a long time.
- Change districts. You can change your selected districts at any time.

The MeinBezirk App offers you a new and attractive channel next to the newspaper to consume current local news from Austria quickly and easily.

No matter if in Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Styria, Tyrol, Carinthia, Salzburg, Vorarlberg or Burgenland - all news displayed in MeinBezirk comes from meinbezirk.at, the online portal of Regionalmedien Austria.
