Rilakkuma knows how to kick back. He does it whenever and wherever he likes.

A comic character created in 2003, this little brown bear has gone from a cute manga to a mega franchise that includes Rilakkuma-themed cafes and a stop-motion animated series. Now there’s another way to enjoy the good vibes: Rilakkuma Farm.

The game begins with Rilakkuma and his little pals arriving at a deserted farm. They quickly get busy tending to the fields – but you’re right to assume that farm work is a little out of character for Rilakkuma. That’s where you come in.

Plant crops in the fields to harvest and make tons of tasty treats. You can then fill food orders from neighbours to earn coins and jewels, which you use to expand your fields, unlock new shops and make the farm a more vibrant place.

But customising this cosy little world is the coolest part. You can long-tap and drag on buildings to position them anywhere you like, build your own small park, garden or shopping street, and even visit the farms of friends and other players. You might stumble across some rare hidden items along the way.

There are also plenty of new treats for Rilakkuma to discover. Swing by the patisserie for puddings and crepes, then whip up some apple juice at the fruit bar.
