With Coaching, Dr. Wolf teaches while you play chess, pointing out good moves and bad — both yours and his — and the reasoning behind them. At times, he'll gently suggest you reconsider a move, or ask a question at a critical moment. Plus, you get unlimited hints, unlimited undos, and unlimited access to our Lesson Library, with over thirty lessons in Dr. Wolf's unique style. Whether or not you choose to subscribe, Dr. Wolf will always play with you. He loves chess too much to turn down a good game.

It is always free to play with Dr. Wolf.You can play three "coaching games" for free with Dr. Wolf, to see what it's like.Some of the learn-to-play-chess lessons are always free.And you can do at least three other lessons for free as well, to see the style of the other Lessons.During your free-games period you can also use the "Train with Dr. Wolf" features for free.There is a one-week free trial you can enjoy by subscribing. You may cancel at any point during that trial, and enjoy a week of all the features for free.After exhausting all of the above, then what you can continue to do for free is play chess with Dr. Wolf, but he will no longer coach you.

The app has a well-designed training system, combining interactive lessons on chess basics with post-game reviews that highlight mistakes. The feedback can be helpful, often suggesting better alternatives to my moves. However, I noticed that sometimes the app marked the best move as a mistake (no joke), and on other times it points to obvious blunders I don't feel like reviewing :)I usually play against the Advanced level, which provides a good challenge for me, especially in the openings. That said, the engine occasionally makes unrealistic mistakes in the middlegame or endgame, such as giving up its queen too easily.It would be nice if the game engine offers to resign when it's obvious and a draw more often (not only by repetition).Also I wish the training sessions included a wider variety of openings—especially more of the basic ones.Overall, it’s a solid app for improving at the fundamentals.

Do you have any plans to add the Turkish language?(pls).I download this app for my little sister (9) for her development. So i get less bored when i’m playing with her. But she doesn’t understand the instructions, so playing randomly by guessing loll
