Thanks for your feedback, but I think there must be some misunderstanding. Compared to Finder, DaisyDisk offers a fundamentally different and much more efficient approach to finding and removing the biggest files. In Finder, you don't have any instant visual information about folder sizes, and finding the biggest files becomes therefore a slow and painful chore. By contrast, DaisyDisk's visual map shows you the biggest files instantly – because the bigger a file or folder is on disk, the bigger is its corresponding segment on the map, and so it just catches your eye. Speaking of the price – DaisyDisk is a premium app, covered in over 500 industry media reviews and winning multiple awards in the Mac App Store. We focus heavily on the user experience and speed, and at the same time, our price tag is average compared to other apps of this category. Also note that we do have a free trial version, available on our website (the Mac App Store currently doesn't support trials). Thanks for your feedback. I guess you were simply looking for a different kind of app. DaisyDisk is a disk space analyzer app, and its goal is to free up disk space. It's not a duplicate finder, and it's not an "automatic" cleaner. DaisyDisk shows you what's *really* taking up space on your disk, so that you can quickly locate and delete the biggest files. And removing the biggest files is the shortest way to make more room on your disk. Duplicate finders serve a different purpose, not exactly to free up disk space. Same thing with "automatic" cleaners. What they really do is remove temporary files and caches, which may not even be big, and will be recreated by their apps anyway. If you focus on reclaiming your disk space, then DaisyDisk offers the most efficient approach.
