Scan a barcode or the ingredients label and see what is really inside the food you are about to buy. WHAT YOU GET FROM ONE SCAN ● PLAIN-LANGUAGE VERDICT Yuko reads the ingredients and tells you what stands out: higher-risk additives, allergens listed on the pack, and nutrient levels that are high. When there is not enough information to judge, Yuko says that instead of pretending. ● ADDITIVE ENCYCLOPAEDIA 340+ E-numbers and other additives, each with a risk level and a plain explanation of what it is and what it does. Risk levels are based on EFSA, WHO, FAO and Turkish Food Codex assessments, and every screen links to the sources. ● THE FULL PRODUCT RECORD Nutri-Score, NOVA processing group and Green-Score, each with the breakdown that produced it. Full nutrition table per 100 g or per serving, with high/medium/low levels for fat, saturated fat, sugars and salt. Ingredients with allergens highlighted. Labels and certifications. Packaging and recycling. Origins, countries and stores. Clearer answers when a scan comes up short. • Products not in the database. When a barcode isn't found, Yuko now says so and offers to scan the ingredients label instead, rather than showing an error. • Fewer false alarms. Label claims like 'sugar-free' or 'no added MSG' no longer flag the very ingredient they rule out. Ingredients actually on the list are still flagged. • Hard-to-read labels. If the live scanner can't read a label clearly, it now says so instead of spinning, and keeps reading. See Results appears as soon as it has enough text, or tap Try again to start a fresh scan. • Clear your allergen list in one go. With two or more allergens saved, tap Remove All in Settings > Allergen Management and confirm. • Greek ingredient lists. When a barcode's ingredient list is in Greek, E-numbers written with the Greek letter Ε (such as Ε330) are now recognised.
