Watch your pay tick up by the second, see every coffee in minutes of work, and keep bills and savings on track. Free, no subscription, no account.
Watch your pay add up, second by second. Paydrip turns your working day into a live counter, and shows what everything you buy costs in hours of work.
For salaried, hourly and shift workers who want to see the link between time worked and money earned.
MINDFUL BY DESIGN
Most budget apps link your bank so spending tracks itself, and quietly drops out of view. Paydrip does the opposite, on purpose. You log each purchase yourself and see what it cost in hours of your work. That small moment is the point.
A LIVE PAY COUNTER
Your pay, ticking up every second you work, worked out from your salary or rate and your schedule. Night shifts, clock changes and time zones handled properly. On a day off, it counts down to your next shift and what it will pay.
SALARIED, HOURLY OR SHIFTS
On a salary? Set your hours once. Paid by the hour? Start and stop when you work. On a rota? Save your shifts and place them on your pattern. A pay rise or a new rota starts from the day you make it, so earlier months stay as they were.
WHAT THINGS REALLY COST
Every expense shows the work it took: "Lunch · 42m of work". The workday band shows your day's work paying off what you spent, dot by dot.
YOUR MONTH AT A GLANCE
What you've earned, what you've spent, and the pay still to come before payday. A calendar of every day, and where your money went by category.
WISHLIST AND SAVINGS GOAL
Add what you're saving for and see how much work stands between you and it. Set a monthly savings goal; what you keep beyond it goes to your wishlist, top item first.
BILLS
Rent, phone, subscriptions: paid automatically on the due date, or a reminder with the amount ready to confirm for bills that vary.
ONE CALM PAGE
Everything on one page, in the order you choose. Light, dark or match your phone. Log an expense in a few taps, or with Siri and Shortcuts.
PRIVATE
No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your data stays on your iPhone, with a backup in your own private iCloud that only you can read.
Every feature is free, with no subscriptions. Optional extras: Home themes like Lanterns, and a tip jar if you'd like to support an independent developer.
Issue: Since the last update, monthly and annual statistics have shown an abnormal and unrealistic increase.Requirement: Investigate the calculation logic for aggregated data. Ensure that the sums for monthly and yearly totals accurately reflect the daily inputs without duplication or scaling errors.
Developer Response
Thanks for reporting this. We took it seriously and went through how monthly and yearly totals are calculated. Each month adds up its days, and each year adds up its months: every expense and income you log is counted once, plus pay from your work schedule. We added tests for every pay type (salaried, hourly, shifts, weekly or fortnightly pay, days off, pay changes) confirming the month and year totals match the daily figures exactly, and the recent updates didn't change this calculation. We haven't been able to reproduce what you're seeing yet, and we'd like to. You don't need to share any amounts. It would help to know:1. Your pay type (salaried, hourly or shifts)2. Which screen and period looks too high (e.g. Analytics → Year)3. Whether earnings, spending or both look wrong4. Roughly how far off: a little, about double, or moreA quick check you can do: open the month in Analytics and tap a few days. If each day looks right but the month or year doesn't add up to them, that's the bug we need, and just telling us that helps.Things that can make totals look higher than expected: "Earned" includes the salary from your work schedule, not only the income you log, and moving "Tracking since" to an earlier date adds salary to every month from that date.If you'd rather not reply publicly, email us at ionr.digital@gmail.com. Thank you for helping make Paydrip better.
Logging something from another day is quicker: tap the date and pick the day straight from the calendar.
