Built-in rules protect these before any spam check runs.
HOW IT WORKS
AntiSpam is built on Apple's own Message Filter extension. Every text from an unknown sender is checked on your iPhone, and only there. It also sees through disguised spellings such as "fr3e g1ft" and "v e r i f y".
A few limits, by Apple's design: texts from your contacts, from anyone you've replied to three or more times, and all iMessages never reach the filter. AntiSpam only ever sees texts from numbers you don't know.
HOW ACCURATE IS IT?
We test on real texts, not demos.
• English: on 28,675 real texts from public research collections, 99% of what AntiSpam flags is spam and it catches 83% of spam (October 2026).
• Turkish, where AntiSpam has been filtering since February 2026: on 13,117 real Turkish texts, 98% of what it flags is spam and it catches 96% of spam (October 2026).
If a text ends up in the wrong place, add the sender to Always Allow or Always Block and it stays sorted.
REPORT A TEXT
Spam slipped through, or a genuine text ended up in Spam? Report it straight from Messages. AntiSpam masks the text on your iPhone before anything is sent: codes, amounts, phone, card and account numbers, email addresses and names in greetings are hidden. You see exactly what will be sent, and nothing goes until you tap Done. The sender is added to Always Block or Always Allow too, so their next text is sorted right away. Turn it on once in Settings › Apps › Phone › SMS/Call Reporting.
PRIVACY
The filter runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no internet access and never uploads or stores your texts. A text leaves your phone only when you report it, and it's masked on your iPhone first. Reports carry nothing that identifies you. No account, no sign-up, no tracking.
SETUP (iOS 26 and later)
Go to Settings › Apps › Messages and scroll down to Unknown Senders:
• Turn on Screen Unknown Senders.
• Tap Allow Notifications. Keep Verification Codes and Personal on, and turn on Transactions so bank, delivery and order texts from unknown numbers still notify you and show up in your Messages list for 12 hours. Leave Promotions off.
• Tap Text Message Filter and choose AntiSpam.
• Turn on Filter Spam.
Then restart your iPhone once. That's it.

If a renewal payment is delayed, filtering keeps working for 7 days.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
