Konush offers extra German speaking practice alongside a course for Turkish-speaking adults at beginner/A1 level. This free version contains 12 teacher-reviewed tasks. The interface and explanations are in Turkish.
In Chapters you learn A1 vocabulary and grammar across 12 chapters: short explanations in Turkish, tables, example sentences with audio and short rounds (meaning, article, gap fill, listening). Every lesson and round ends with a spoken sentence; articles are always learned together with the noun.
Listen to short dialogues, practise listening and sentence building, and speak your answer. The app compares the recognised text with the target sentence and reviewed variants. Results may be accepted, try again or uncertain. An uncertain result is not counted as a wrong answer; attempts using help are recorded separately. Text matching is not a pronunciation score or a language-level assessment.
Start recording yourself and tap again to stop. You can turn automatic stopping during silence on or off; each recording lasts at most 30 seconds. Replay tasks, review previous practice or try a short three-part A1 speaking rehearsal. It summarises recordings, duration and matched structures without predicting an official exam result or guaranteeing a pass. Konush is not a complete German course.
No account is required. Audio and transcripts are processed on device and are not sent to a server. Temporary fallback recordings are deleted after analysis or cancellation. Learning progress stays on the device and can be deleted in Settings. The app has no ads or usage analytics.
Requires an iPhone or iPad with iOS 26 or later. The first German speech-model download needs an internet connection and may take a few minutes. Premium and purchase screens are disabled in this version.
New: Chapters. 12 A1 chapters with vocabulary and grammar – short explanations in Turkish, tables and audio examples; every round ends with a spoken sentence. Articles are shown with letter, shape and colour tone (der ▲ · die ● · das ■). All A1 chapters are free.
