Themes Store • Theme Store: give your Home a new look with 31 holiday and seasonal themes, from Halloween and Christmas to Diwali, Eid, Space and Dinosaurs. Buy them with points, and each person picks their own. Prices vary by holiday and rise as the day gets closer. • Birthday theme is free for a child during their birthday month. • Birthdays: save each family member's birthday, and set birthday money that is added automatically once a year. • Try Your Luck: answer a fun quiz question on a chore for a chance to double the reward. • Points rewards: chores can now pay cash, points, or both, and parents can add or redeem points. • Reliability improvements and bug fixes.

A little peace and mind, time for yourselves... • Away on Vacation: pause every chore in one tap from the "…" menu, with an optional return date. While you're away, nothing is due or counted as missed, streaks pause instead of breaking, chore reminders stay quiet, and Home shows an "Away on vacation" card with an "I'm Back" button. Every family phone pauses together through Family Sync. • Remove Profile for parents: just like kids, parents can now remove their profile from an iPhone. Family Sync data stays safe, so you can rejoin with the invite code anytime. • 30 new badges (42 in total): chore and streak milestones, perfect days and weeks, early-bird and night-owl timing, savings goals and more. Badges are now grouped by category, an "Up Next" card shows the ones you're closest to, and tapping any badge explains how to earn it. • Notifications for every family: Notification Preferences now lists each family on your iPhone with its own on/off switch and alert choices. Alerts from all your families arrive as real push notifications and show the family's name when you belong to more than one. • "Earned" money now counts only chore rewards and bonuses, so moving money in and out of savings no longer inflates it. • Reliability improvements and bug fixes.

Multiple homes, kid comments and a tidier app. • Multiple homes: swipe the Home card left or right to switch between your families, or swipe to the last card to add another home. Every home keeps its own chores, money, chat and sync. • Resetting or leaving one home no longer affects your other homes. • Kids can now add an optional comment when they submit a chore, and parents see it right on the review screen. • Your first home's page dot is now a little house. • Under-the-hood cleanup and reliability improvements.

Redesigned Home hero cards for parents and kids • Cleaner Home top bar: your profile and menu buttons now sit on floating glass pills (clear glass in dark mode, dark-tinted glass in light mode), and the shaded bar behind them is gone. • Redesigned Home hero cards for parents and kids: a taller card with the date at the top, your streak, badges and goal shown in rings, and the family information centered so long names wrap instead of getting cut off. • Family Sync has a Sync Now button again. New: Push Notifications. Family members now get instant alerts on their own phones, even when the app is closed. You'll be notified when a chore needs approval, when it's approved or needs a redo, when there's a new chat message, and when a payment is sent. Choose which alerts you want in Settings > Notifications. New: Makeup Chores. A missed chore can still be done within 7 days for half pay. You'll find them under "Makeup Chores" on the Home screen. Notification Preferences now only show the alerts that apply to the person using the device, so kids no longer see parent-only options. Improved syncing so approvals, profile pictures and profile changes show up reliably on every family device.

This was done to prevent child profiles from switching to parent profiles to mark chores as done, again this is only for local profiles. (Without Apple Signin) Transaction History: + Child only sees their transaction history vs households transaction history, Parents see all transactions. Bonus/Deduction: + Is exactly as it implies, extra money given or taken for Childs behavior Examples: Lying, Swearing, Stealing, Not Listening, Yelling, Not doing their chores. Such as life their actions have consequences +/- teaching them early is a great way to learn responsibilities. Like I tell my daughter “No one is going to pay you to load or unload your dishwasher when you’re an adult”
