How it works • Real Japanese videos, made for Japanese speakers, not for textbooks. • A feed graded two ways: by your level, and by how fast people actually speak. • Every clip is labelled with where it comes from, so you always know which Japanese you are hearing. • Hear standard Japanese and Kansai-ben, the Japanese of Osaka, and choose which one your feed plays. • Smart Subtitles show you which words to learn first: whether a word is among the 500, 1,000 or 2,000 most common words in Japanese. • Tap any word in the subtitles to see what it means, right there in the sentence. Words written in kanji also show how they're read in kana. • Learner insights: each clip comes with a short note on the Japanese worth knowing in it. Focus mode, the guided way in Do not just watch a clip, work it. Focus plays it once with no text, asks how much you caught, then takes it sentence by sentence and word by word until it lands.
