As members of MyWheels, we are convinced that cars are often very useful, but that driving can be much smarter. That's why we are car sharers. And that really only has advantages: Together we drive the most sustainable electric cars, it is cheaper because we only pay for use and we ensure that the city becomes more liveable. So less stationary gaze. More and more people believe in this form of Good Sharing. And that's delicious! Because the more car sharers join, the more cars we can park, the greater the convenience for everyone. The Netherlands can make do with far fewer (stationary) cars, and we are happy to show how this can be done.
This is how you use MyWheels.
Carsharing is easy. This is how it works:
• Open the app and click on a shared car near you to book your ride.
• Swipe the car open with your MyWheels app and start your journey.
• End of ride? Park and click finish.
This is how you create an account.
Are you using MyWheels for the first time? Creating an account is very simple. Download the app and create an account. Make sure you have your driver's license at hand and you will be on your way within a few minutes.
Grab the car
• Save on your rides with MyWheels Trips. This way you can purchase your kilometers in advance at a cheaper price.
• Take the car throughout the Netherlands, but always return it to the departure zone or permanent parking spot.

Foreign License
If you dont have eu, states, canada or australia driving license , dont download the app.
I can rent car from sixt, hertz vs big rental companies with my turkish driving license, but not with this guys. I dont know why.
So if you are not in that list dont waste your time with this app. :) ( i did, sadly!)
Useless
I am a Turkish citizen, but I have a Dutch driver's license. I installed the application, created an account. I scanned my driver's license. Just when I was planning a trip, the app deactivated my account. They didn't send any explanation mail. It is also impossible to reach them by phone.
By chance, when I was looking at my information, I noticed that my driver's license number and expiration date were incorrect. But I don't think this is a rare occurrence. I created three separate accounts, had all three scan the same driver's license, and all three showed an incorrect number or expiration date. This is not normal.
Such a disappointment!
Very bad unstable app & payment is like a scam
First off, my experience is completely terrible from start to drop off for every sense. Dont spend time on this company. I will miss Amber! Here my remarks:
- while trying to book, app is asking payment without knowing how much i will drive! Why i am paying this much which you dont know where i am driving? I paid first payment, but still kept asking additional charge, which i didnt understand but still it was not booked!!! This made me feel like scam!! I had to pay 2 times to be able to boom the car!
- car is very dirty! Even there was a a part of tree branch and leafs in it. Never seen such thing
- drop of locations are limited? Really didn’t understand, app is not clear. Even it didn’t ask where i need to drop off in the first place. But at the end, it asked me to drop off where i picked. Come on!
- i need to call customer service and waited for 15 minutes. If you want to spend your time for nothing you can wait them. Since after 15mins they didnt help.
- charging was not working… customer service asked me to call charging service. This never happened to me when i was using Amber. Even car was charged %60 already and they told me that it should be at least %80 to be able leave it without charging. This is not flexible, why would i use this next time!
- charging was not working and i had to solve it with charging company. As far as understand it is because of this car related. Because charging company person’s advises were all related with car not station. So dont use these car. They are not stable. I spent 1hour to solve car problems.
- the last point, this is waaaay expensive. Better to walk or find a taxi. Taxi is cheaper.
