Designed for controlling 3D motion over serial port. Serial Positioner is a basic application developed to communicate with connected USB-Serial peripherals and control devices with serial port. It only transmit/sends data over serial port, there is no receive function. Sends string data packets with three different variable with no size limit at the application side. Data structure is set by the Intuitive controller tools. Its flexible - delimiters can be changed, so it can be configured to work with your specific serial device. Example usage scenario including 2D microscope stage controller application (C++) is given at support website.
