Sometimes you just want to write something down without your app getting in the way. No toolbars popping up, no formatting to deal with, no account to sign in to. Just you and a blank page. That's Textn. It's a plain text editor, notepad, whatever you want to call it. You open it, you type, it saves. That's really it. If you copy something from a website or an email and paste it in, all the formatting disappears and you're left with just the words. Clean and simple. Everything stays on your phone. Nothing leaves your device. There's no cloud, no account, nothing syncing in the background. Your notes are stored locally on your iPhone and that's where they stay. Keep it private. Turn on Face ID or Touch ID and the app locks itself whenever you step away. Nobody else gets in. A few things worth knowing. You can have several notes open at once and switch between them with tabs. Everything saves as you go so you'll never lose what you wrote. There's a light mode and a dark mode. You can share any note as a .txt file. And there's a find and replace if you need it. It's free. No catch. If you've ever wished your notes app would just get out of the way, give Textn. a go.
