Afrafranto is a social networking platform where users can post comments, share photographs, and post links to news or other interesting content on the app, chat live, and watch short-form video. It is a digital brand for Movement for Change - political organization founded in Ghana and led by Alan Kyerematen. Movement for Change (M4C) seeks to inspire and demand the change we need to transform Ghana and shape a brighter future for our people. The brand logo for the Movement is the Monarch Butterfly. This symbolizes change and transformation, hope, and positivity. It also communicates strength, endurance, spirituality, and trust. The brand motto of the MOVEMENT is “Ghana Will Rise Again,” which symbolizes hope for the future of Ghana. The Movement for Change is open to all Ghanaians seeking a change to the status quo. It will be led and powered by the youth of Ghana. Afrafranto can be accessed from devices with Internet connectivity, such as personal computers, tablets and smartphones. After registering, users can create a profile revealing information about themselves. They can post text, photos and multimedia which are shared with any other users who have agreed to be their connections, community or publicly. Users can also communicate directly with each other, join common-interest groups, and receive notifications on the activities of their friends, connections, communities and the page(s) they follow.
