Seriously？

Seriously？
The whole point is to get rid of cable tv, turns out I have to subscribe to this service from a cable tv provider?

We have recently launched the option for subscription purchase through Apple App Store.

You just have to download the HBO GO app, create an account and select to purchase subscription via App Store.

HBO Go doesn’t support HomePod on TV

As someone who owns and uses HomePods to enjoy my home media I was very disappointed to immediately discover that this could not be done while using the HBO Go Apple TV app.

I am strongly considering whether or not I should end my subscription after the 7 day trial since I have been waiting for the availability of this service for years and feel that unless I can consume this much anticipated service in the most immersive manner available to me, that perhaps I should simply wait until it supports the hardware I choose to use when doing so.

I would like to know if and when HomePods will be enabled for HBO Go on Apple TV?
