The midterms edition: every race at a glance, current numbers, and a plan for election night.
• Every race at a glance: one line each — who leads, by how much, how recently polled — that opens to its average, trend and polls. Star the races you follow to keep them open at the top.
• What's new since your last visit, counted at the top of each list and marked on the race and the poll.
• Find a race by state, district (PA-07) or candidate. Every polled House district now sits under the generic ballot.
• Approval is current again. When VoteHub's approval feed falls behind, the app uses the polls The New York Times collects instead, and says which. Each poll and each pollster now counts once.
• More races with an average: races polled only every few weeks, including both 2028 primaries, average their five newest polls, with the dates on the card.
• How the numbers work: tap the info button on any average, or find it in Settings, for the method in plain words.
• Other averages: see where this app's generic ballot and approval numbers sit among the other major polling averages.
• Markets for every battleground Senate and governor race.
• Data sources, in Settings: what each source has sent and how recently.
• Order any race list by most polled, closest, latest or A–Z.
• Every 2026 nominee in their party's colour, and partisan-sponsored polls labelled as such.
• Election night: the countdown turns into links to find your polling place and follow official results (in Settings too), an optional reminder goes out as polls close, averages are labelled final once election day has passed, and each market shows its winner once Polymarket settles it.
• A one-year approval chart, each poll's field dates, and a comfortable reading column on iPad.
• Fixes: poll dates no longer show a day early, market prices match what Polymarket shows, pulling to refresh always checks for new numbers, every trend line shows both leading candidates, and reminders read properly.
