During the recent airport strike, no assistance was provided by Expedia in handling the flight ticket. Expedia stated that they did not have the authority to make any changes and directed the matter to the airline. The airline, however, clarified that, because the ticket was purchased through a travel agency, Expedia held full authority to make adjustments, and the airline could not modify the ticket until the final moment. Despite this explanation, no action was taken by Expedia regarding the ticket up to that point.The matter had already been brought to customer support at the time without resolution, and this comment is provided solely to share the experience for other users’ reference.
