Never use Careem again
I had a very bad encounter with a driver whom I saw with my own eyes deliberately took out the SIM card from his Careem phone once he started the trip and told me his phone didn’t work and I have to pay him separately once I arrived at my destination. He was trying to double charge me, once by Careem app and then pay him again on the side so he can pocket the extra money.After experiencing this unsafe and shady practice by this driver, Careem overcharged my credit card for the ride! Contacted them to report the shady driver’s illegal practice and to refund me the difference and they refused. What a slimy company. Will never use them again.

Dear Careem I hate to put one star here since I really enjoy the food delivery and car ride service you provide. However, when it comes to order food I could never find a proper place to express my will that I DONT WANT ONE TIME use cutlery which is the least thing you can provide for customer to join our force to help sustainability. (There is only message for riders which they never read and don’t care) May I suggest to provide a comment or leave a message section on your platform for restaurants to let the restaurant know that consumer doesn’t want one time use cutlery. Thank you.

The driver charged me more than actual amount. After I realized I paid extra and contacted careem customer service, they said they have nothing to do for my case. Also I contacted to the driver for getting back my money, he ignored me. Why should I accept this kind of illegal behavior and unprofessional service from careem?
