ExPreS (Extubation Predictive Score) is a predictive score of success in the extubation of mechanically ventilated patients, published in 2021 in the PLOS ONE journal by the team of Nexo Healthcare Intelligence. And now was transformed into a mobile app to make its use simple and easy. Get decision-making support in the palm of your hand. During its scientific validation, ExPreS reduced the extubation failure rate from 8.2% to 2.4%, proving to be easy to use at the bedside and an excellent decision-support tool for weaning and extubation. ExPreS is the first score to evaluate the patient in a multisystemic way and includes peripheral muscular strength as a predictive factor for success in extubation.
