The mobilityDIY On-Demand Driver app is a part of a community-based solution to mobility where members of the community manage and drive (literally!) the service. The app is for drivers who have been approved to drive for the community and can respond to ride requests from community members and includes an approval process for becoming a driver for the community. The mobilityDIY On-Demand module is easy to setup and provides a highly configurable user experience, managing everything from the schedule, service area, and drivers, and allows users to make ride requests by app, website, or phone. The mobilityDIY On-Demand module is ideal for communities that are generally considered “off-the-grid” and have few options provided by the government or private sector. Examples include small towns, outlying businesses, suburbia, and event venues.
