Extremely disappointing experience using Saily eSIM in Japan.Despite having signal most of the time, the connection was often unusable. Google Maps barely loaded, messages were delayed or failed to send, and even simple web browsing was frustratingly slow. In busy areas like Tokyo, the service became almost impossible to rely on.I tried all recommended troubleshooting steps:- restarting the phone- switching networks manually- disabling 5G- airplane mode resetNothing solved the issue.What made the experience worse was customer support initially refusing a refund because the eSIM had “usage detected,” even though the problem was that the service itself barely functioned properly. After a long discussion, only store credit was offered instead of an actual refund.I cannot recommend Saily for Japan travel based on this experience. Reliable mobile data is essential when traveling, and unfortunately this service did not meet even basic expectations.
