Transcripts can now show when each part of the conversation was said, for sessions that use Nemotron speech recognition.
Turn timestamps on with the clock button on the transcript. If you saved the session's audio, tap a time to play the conversation from that moment.

- Reading text size. Make transcripts, notes, chat and highlights larger or smaller in Settings → Privacy & System.
- xAI speech recognition. xAI joins the cloud speech providers you can use with your own xAI API key.
- More reliable cloud speech recognition. If the connection to your cloud speech provider silently drops, Hedy notices and switches to on-device speech recognition.

- Cleaned-up transcripts keep your speakers. Who said what, with the names you assigned, now survives cleanup, and you can keep using Hedy while it runs in the background.
- Speech that fits your language. Hedy suggests the best speech model for your meeting language, and languages the Nemotron engine does not cover use Whisper instead.

Import a YouTube video even when its audio will not download. Hedy now builds the session from the video's captions instead.
It uses the language you chose in the import dialog and prefers the original spoken track over creator-uploaded translations. Captions are text only, so there is no audio to play back afterwards.
Also in this release:
- Session titles follow the calendar invite. A session captured against an invite takes its title from the invite name plus a few words on what was covered, so you can recognise it in the list.
- Faster session lists. Your list loads faster, and the difference grows with the amount of history in your account.
- More reliable AI generation. On-device AI is steadier, and analysis on a long session gets the time it needs to finish rather than coming back empty.
- Steadier speaker names. Automatic speaker naming is less likely to attach a name to the wrong person.
- Clearer microphone messages. When the microphone is unavailable, Hedy now tells you whether a permission is missing or another app is holding it.
- Session contexts, prompts and vocabulary restored. If you run with Cloud Sync off, these had stopped appearing in the app. They were never lost, and this release brings them back.
Rotating your iPhone or iPad also keeps an open session exactly as you left it, and this release carries a batch of smaller fixes and polish across the rest of the app.

Speaker labels and sharper on-device speech now reach far more iPhones and iPads, back to the iPhone XS.
Sessions captured this way separate each voice as it happens, so your summary knows who said what.
Also in this release:
- Public links. Publish a session as a web page that opens for anyone you send it to, with no Hedy account and no sign-in. You pick what goes on it (summary, detailed notes, to-dos, session notes, transcript, chat with Hedy) and whether it expires in 7, 30 or 90 days or not at all. Revoke it whenever you like. (Pro)
- Merge two speakers into one. When speaker detection hears one person as two, merge them from the speaker chip so they share a name and a single voice in your summary.
- To-dos agree across your devices. Ticking off an action item matches between the session, its topic and your other devices. Completion and due dates can now also be set from the Hedy API and via MCP.
Also improved: the Cloud AI Analysis setting is now named after the feature it governs, session titles save however you leave the field, and there is a batch of smaller fixes and polish across the app.

Your transcripts can now name who said what. With the Nemotron speech engine, Hedy picks up names when people say who they are.
Rename any speaker in a tap, and the name follows that session into copies, shares, downloads, and your other devices. Available on iPhone 12 and newer.

- Every Topic has a To-Dos tab. Action items from all of a Topic's sessions gather in one place, sorted by due date or by the session they came from, so nothing stays stranded in a single recap.
- Save your recap and notes as real documents. Download a summary, your detailed notes, or a full session export as text, Markdown, Word, or PDF, with headings, lists, and tables intact rather than flattened.
- Merging keeps the whole session. Chat history and session notes now travel with a merge instead of being left behind.
