I start playing this game around 2015. A lot of changes of been made. Although most of the update has been positive, one of the pities is that the backstories were abandoned, and heroes balancing has been slow without competitively changing the meta progress. I really miss how the hero’s backstory relates back to the skins’ lores. It’s understandable that that part of the game is abandoned, but I didn’t like how the heroes are getting repetitive and mirrors heroes from LOL. Personally I’d prefer a limited selection of heroes with various play style. You would see a lot of players choosing newer heroes because they present a newer playstyle and skills sets that were yet to be balanced. That’s fine, but I hope this won’t become a vicious circle of keep making newer heroes and abandoning the old ones. The financial pressure exerted on the team is not cost efficient while VG can be unique from all the moba. Simply changing skill sets of heroes would be a lot of run, or creating timed scenarios with different set of rules. MOBA like LOL will and always will have a larger and newer heroes pool to choose from, but I never think LOL grasped the potential of diversity shown in game play, VG should be and can be different in a way that player would choose VG above any MOBA in the market.
