[ WHAT'S NEW IN THIS BUILD (1.1.16) ] This is a stability-only release. No new features are exposed to users, no new permissions, no changes to in-app purchases, content sourcing, or the parental gate. The pairing / playback / IAP test steps described above are unchanged. 1. Playback reliability: on iOS 26, a second or later web view in the same app session could intermittently stall while loading the YouTube IFrame player, leaving the child on a loading screen. The app now detects the stall and silently reloads the player (max 2 attempts, typically recovered within 1 second) instead of showing an error. 2. Startup: the "no viewing profile yet" empty state was briefly shown while profiles were still being fetched. A loading state was added. 3. "Dislike": a video the child disliked during playback could still appear in the channel's video list. The list is now filtered consistently. 4. The break-time countdown on the playback screen now fades out together with the other on-screen controls.

======================================================================== WHAT CHANGED IN THIS VERSION (1.1.10, since the previously reviewed 1.1.8) ======================================================================== 1. PLAYBACK ERROR HANDLING (new) Previously the player could spin on "Loading" indefinitely if an embed failed. This build adds failure detection (script-load error + a 20s ready timeout) and dedicated error screens. What a reviewer may see: - If a specific video cannot be embedded/played (e.g. the uploader disabled embedding, or the video is unavailable/region- or age-restricted), the app now shows a friendly error screen with a Retry button instead of a stuck spinner. This is EXPECTED behavior, not a crash — please just tap another video from the approved list. - Special case: if the device itself blocks youtube.com via Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Web Content, playback will fail and the app shows on-screen guidance pointing to that iOS setting. If you hit this, please confirm the test device does not restrict web content under Screen Time, then retry. - YouTube error codes (100/101/150/2/5) each map to their own message; Retry fully rebuilds the player. 2. EXTERNAL LINKS OPEN IN THE SYSTEM BROWSER Links to our website from the app's Settings now open in the system browser (Safari) instead of an in-app web view. 3. SUPPORT CONTACT In-app support email updated to support@trustnel.com. No changes to pairing, the approved-video whitelist model, in-app purchase, or the parent safety lock since 1.1.8 — the review steps in the main notes above still apply unchanged. ========================================================================
