TimesNewRecord is a native time tracker for iPhone, iPad and Mac — for people who bill by the project, or who simply want to know where the day went.
There is no TimesNewRecord account and no developer-operated server. Completed entries and folders can sync through your private iCloud database, while a running timer stays on the device where it began.
TRACK
Pick a folder, type what you are working on and start. The Now Bar keeps the running timer visible across the app. On Mac, it is also available from the menu bar and can be controlled with a keyboard shortcut.
ORGANISE
Nested folders, each with its own emoji and colour. Client › Project › Task, or however you think about your work. The colours carry through to the day bars and charts.
REVIEW
Entries group by day with a per-day total and a coloured stripe showing how the day split across folders. Open any entry to correct it — a timer you forgot to stop is not a lost afternoon. Restart picks up the same task again in one tap or click.
REPORT
Choose any date range and view it by day, week or month as stacked bars or lines, with a per-folder breakdown. Export the current view as CSV when you need a timesheet or invoice.
EVERYWHERE
On iPhone and iPad, use Home Screen widgets, Control Center controls and Live Activities. On Mac, keep the timer in the menu bar or turn on “Hide the Dock icon” for a focused menu-bar-only workflow.
