Cleaver Kitchen 2.4 is our biggest polish update yet, built around how you actually cook. COOKING • Your screen stays awake while you're on a cooking screen, so no more unlocking the phone with messy hands. • Each step now shows the ingredients it uses, with amounts, right under the step. No more scrolling back to the ingredient list. • Say "read ingredients" during hands-free cooking. • Timers: pause, resume and +1 minute; quick presets and optional names. Timer alerts are Time Sensitive so they get through Focus. COOK TOGETHER • Make-ahead steps like "refrigerate overnight" are scheduled the night before and marked Make Ahead. "Cooking takes about" now shows your real day-of time, plus a note like "plus overnight chill (make ahead)". • Preheating happens the day you cook, right before the oven step. • Hands-on steps such as layering or whisking are labeled Active more accurately. MEAL PLAN • A new Week view with a photo row for each day. It's now the default. • Plan This Week builds balanced days, each with a main plus a side. Recipes don't repeat in a week unless your library is small, and any repeat is marked. • Upcoming meals, more dots on the calendar, and Add to Meal Plan from any recipe. • A friendly tip when a few more recipes would add variety. SHOPPING • Smarter aisles that follow how you walk a store. Change an item's aisle and Cleaver remembers it. • See which recipe each item is for. • A new … menu: Group by, Manage Stores, Clear Checked and more. LIBRARY & SETTINGS • Recently Cooked and Cook Time sorts. • Cleaner tags and recipe titles on import. • An optional Plain A–Z filing switch. • A simpler Settings layout, with Send Feedback. Share your cooking plan, and shop one store at a time. • Share Plan: send your Cook Together timeline as a PDF or an image, or print it with AirPrint. Every step is on it, and it lays out cleanly on iPhone and iPad. Tape it to the fridge or text it to whoever's helping in the kitchen. • Shopping by store: add your own stores, put each item in a store when you add it or later with a swipe or long press, and group your list by store. Pick one store to see only what to grab there. Items without a store stay under "Any store" and show in every store. • Done with a recipe? Remove its items from your shopping list and keep the ones you added yourself or put in a store, or remove them all. • When you finish a plan, a new Finish Cooking button wraps it up. • Tried a sample menu? Cleaver now points you to adding your own recipes. • iPad fixes and polish, including a smoother A–Z index in the Library. All of this is free for everyone.

Practice Thanksgiving before the big day. • Try a Thanksgiving dinner: roast turkey, sage stuffing, mashed potatoes, lemony green beans and pumpkin pie, set up as one Cook Together plan. Pick your serve time and Cleaver works backward from it and tells you when to start each step, turkey first. • It's free to try, and the sample dishes don't count toward your recipe limit. Remove them any time in Settings. • Find it on the empty Library or under Settings → Sample Menus.

Cleaver Kitchen now runs natively on iPad, and your recipes sync with iCloud, free for everyone. • Made for iPad: a Library sidebar and recipe grid, ingredients and steps side by side, a large-type Cooking Mode with this step's ingredients and timers alongside, and Meal Plan and Shopping laid out to use the full width. Works in every orientation, Split View, Slide Over and Stage Manager, with keyboard shortcuts. • Free iCloud sync: your recipes, meal plans and shopping list stay the same on your iPhone and iPad, and come back if you reinstall. Your data lives in your own iCloud account; we can't see it. Sync is free and doesn't need Pro. • Sharing a recipe link to Cleaver now imports reliably. One purchase covers iPhone and iPad. Pro is unchanged: unlimited recipes and Cook Together for 3 or more dishes.

Smarter recipe imports: Cleaver Kitchen now finds the recipe on blogs and Pinterest-linked sites that don't use a standard recipe card. It keeps the ingredients and steps and leaves out menus, comments and ads. Links pasted without "https://" work too, and broken pages get a clear message instead of a messy import. Also new: redeem offer codes right in the app, see your version number at the bottom of Settings, and short timers now read "30 sec". Plus VoiceOver and large-text improvements throughout.

Ready for iPhone Duo. Cooking Mode now adapts to how you hold it: • Closed: the current step, timers and big Prev / Next buttons on the outer screen. • Half-open on the counter: the step on the top half; this step's ingredients, timers and big Prev / Next buttons on the bottom half. • Flat: the full step list on the left, ingredients and timers on the right. • Each step now shows just the ingredients it uses. Plus small fixes and polish.

Smarter recipe library • Titles file under the dish, not a leading adjective — e.g. “Burnt Basque Cheesecake” under C. • On import and recipe detail: “Filed under” with an A–Z picker. Your choice sticks through renames until you reset. Photos • Choose from Library reliably attaches a photo. • New Choose from Files (JPEG, HEIC, PNG) when adding or replacing a recipe photo. Pinterest • Paste a pin link or Share from the Pinterest app to import. Cleaver follows the recipe website behind the pin when there is one. • No Pinterest account sign-in in Cleaver — open a pin and share or paste it. Board links aren’t imported as a whole board. Also in this release • Cleaner import of recipe-card times (no “15 minutes mins” in notes). • Rename a recipe from its detail screen.

Cleaver Kitchen 2.1.0 — What's New Cleaver is now Cleaver Kitchen. NEW • Import recipes from X (Twitter) posts. Paste a post link, share a post's text to Cleaver Kitchen from the share sheet, or open the post in the in-app browser. Ingredients and steps are picked out of the post and kept apart from hashtags, replies and promo lines; if a post doesn't contain a recipe, Cleaver Kitchen tells you instead of importing a mess. You always review the recipe before it is saved. • Recipe photos come along when you import from a link, an X post or a photo of a recipe, where one is available. • Your Library is now organized A–Z with section headers and a jump bar, with a toggle for Recently added. Recipe cards are evenly sized. • A short, skippable intro on first launch, and a friendlier empty Library with "Add your first recipe" (from a link, from a photo, or from another app's share sheet). • "Try a sample dinner": two example dishes (a main and a side) that open straight into Cook Together so you can see one timeline for both. Sample recipes are labeled and can be removed at any time from the Library or Settings. Re-open the intro anytime from Settings > How Cleaver Kitchen works. • Restore Purchases now shows progress and tells you the result. IMPROVED • The free plan's 15-recipe limit is now applied consistently, including when you import from the share sheet or restore a backup. Sample recipes don't count toward it. Existing recipes are never removed. • Optional: Settings > Importing can fetch long X posts and their photos from fxtwitter.com, a third-party service that sees the post's author and ID.
