Bug fixes and other small tweaks.

It sometimes unexpectedly close.

My iPhone is the latest version, it sometimes close without any notice.

Terrible update

With this new UI, i can no longer select a word and automatically look up that word, nor do I have the icon to go back to the previous page. These are essential functions to browse dictionary like books and to learn from it. And the layout is just like other online dictionaries or dictionary apps and lost its own Merriam-Wester touch. How does it stand out from other dictionary now that all provides similar functions.

I used to tell everyone that M-W is my first choice and recommend that they pay for it and that they won't regret it. This update let me have a second thought. Maybe it is time to try something new.

Terrible search engine

Even just misspelling one letter results in me not being able to find the right word. If I had known the correct spelling in the first place, would I have needed your dictionary to begin with? Also, this app fails to include the word”coulrophobia”, fear of clowns. Consider the movie “It” only just came out fairly recently, this failure of inclusion really speaks volume of how this dictionary brand thinks about its own value. Failure, would not recommend. I’ve bought the premium version and used this app for over a year just so I’m not judging it too critically. Again, failure, would not recommend.
