A record of the entire run. Miles is a straight-line acceleration logger built for safe, legal closed-course testing. From launch to finish, it brings timing, distance, top speed, a G-force trace and a minimal route outline together in one clean result card. No accounts, ads or social feed. Just your vehicle, your runs and the changes you want to compare. TIMING BETWEEN GPS UPDATES Phone GPS delivers discrete samples. The moment your vehicle reaches a target speed or distance often falls between two updates. Rather than simply recording the time of the next location update, Miles interpolates between samples to estimate when the target was crossed, reducing the timing granularity error of sample-only timing. Miles combines GPS and motion data and records an acceleration G-force trace, giving you more than a final number: a view of how the run unfolded. When GPS data quality is insufficient during a test, the result card includes a warning to help you interpret the result. Interpolation provides a finer estimate; it does not eliminate GPS, mounting or environmental errors. Miles is designed for comparisons under consistent conditions, not as certified measurement equipment.
