New in 2.3.1 • Settings is regrouped into clear sections, and the new Help & support section answers common questions, lets you contact support and sums up how your privacy is protected. • The app is now dark by default. To change it, choose Light, or Automatic to follow your iPhone or iPad, in Settings → Appearance. • Share PC Controller with a friend from Help & support. • The pairing screen can send the desktop app's link to your computer, so you can install the app there. • In the demo, “Set up your own PC” takes you straight to pairing your own computer. • The app opens faster.

New in 2.3 • Commands: build your own multi-step actions on the Shortcuts tab (wake the PC, set the volume, open a link, press keys, wait…) and run them with one tap. • Run a command without opening the app: ask Siri, tap a widget on the Home Screen or Lock Screen, add it to Control Center, or run it on your Apple Watch, from its Commands page or right from the watch face. • Three ready-made commands to start from, and the ? beside Commands shows how they work. • The widgets now look like the app. With two or more PCs, each widget can control its own PC: touch and hold it, then choose Edit Widget. • Fixes for Files, the trackpad, Bluetooth and switching PCs.

New in 2.2 • Keys, typing, clicks and the trackpad now work in games on Windows and Mac, including games you aim with the mouse. • The app tells you when a newer version of the free agent on your computer is out, with a card you can close and a note in Settings. New in 2.1 • Bluetooth: pair with your computer and control it over Bluetooth, with nothing to type. If Wi-Fi drops, the app switches to Bluetooth, and goes back to Wi-Fi when it returns. • The app shows whether it's reaching your computer over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. • A smoother trackpad, even while music or video plays on the computer. • Nearby PCs only lists computers where the agent actually answers. • Pairing: the fields stay above the keyboard, and the list follows you onto a new Wi-Fi network.
