PDF import has been rebuilt from the ground up. It now reads your scripts and sides accurately, even scanned pages, and leaves out crossed-out and faded text. Standard Import works out the best way to read each page on its own, so it's the one to start with. Pick exactly what to import, right on the PDF: tap a line to start or end there, keep just one scene, or drag the Start and End handles. Casting sides' START and END marks are found for you. While you check an imported scene, the PDF stays on screen above it and follows along as you scroll. AI Import lets you pick the exact part to import too, up to 5 pages. New action blocks start with no pause. Slide the delay up whenever you want one. Fixed a bug where, after several takes, Perform Scene could get stuck on "Preparing voice recognition". If voice recognition is busy, it now tells you and tries again on its own. Also fixed: extra blank space under the last block while typing, and a performance getting stuck after playing back a recorded line on iPhone and iPad.

This update improves speech recognition: faster, more reliable engine, clearer alerts if connection drops, and no more silent failures mid-rehearsal. Line-matching during performances is more accurate. Fixed several PDF import bugs affecting character names and dialogue formatting.

Manual mode: advance through your scene by tapping or the new Back/Next buttons — no speech recognition needed. Teleprompter now follows what you actually say instead of just counting words, so off-script chatter can't skip it ahead. Also: fixed the screen occasionally sleeping mid-performance, faster tap-to-skip response, and the Perform Scene options panel now starts collapsed for a cleaner view.

This update fixes two issues: Fixed a bug where trimming dead air from a recording could get stuck looping a fraction of a second of audio instead of playing the line. Collaborators with Record-only access can no longer use Dictate to change a line's text — Record now stays limited to attaching audio, as intended.
