What's New in Version 1.0.9
This update brings some exciting upgrades to StudyStash, especially for our Ontario students. Here's everything that's fresh:
- Waterloo University joins the StudyStash family! If you're a Warrior, you can now select Waterloo as your school and explore course-specific content just like Western students.
- We’ve gone through and filled in the gaps for Western University — several missing programs and courses have been added, making it easier to match your real schedule with what's available on the app.
- Navigation has been tightened up across the board. You’ll notice smoother screen transitions and fewer hiccups when moving through surveys, course selection, or backtracking to your profile.
- Say hello to filters! You can now search by course code, assignment type, or even the school year when browsing uploads. Find exactly what you need faster without scrolling endlessly.
- Ever wonder how many unlocks you have left? Wonder no more — your unlock balance is now shown on your profile screen so you can keep track of how close you are to your next assignment.
- And the big one... You can now upload files straight from your computer! Fill out the form in-app, receive an upload link via email, and drag-and-drop your file from your desktop. Perfect for those who like organizing their schoolwork on a laptop before sharing it.
Cached file previews now load instantly on repeat views, improving performance across the app.
- Unlock buttons are now available right after unlocking, no longer delayed by preview load time.
- Upload buttons display a live loading indicator while files or images are uploading, giving clearer feedback.
- Fixed an issue where navigating away during file load would cause errors.
- Small improvements to how forms and course lists are shown to make the app feel cleaner.
