Universal Barcode Reader finds and decodes every barcode in a photo — instantly, and entirely on your device.
Point your camera at a barcode, or choose an existing photo, and get back the format, the decoded value, and exactly where it sits in the frame. Multiple barcodes of different types in one image are found and reported separately.
FORMATS SUPPORTED
QR Code, PDF417, GS1-128, ITF-14, EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, EAN-8, UPC-E, Data Matrix, Aztec, GS1 DataBar (all variants), MaxiCode, Micro QR, rMQR, MicroPDF417.
GS1 APPLICATION IDENTIFIERS
GS1-encoded barcodes are automatically parsed into labeled fields — batch and lot numbers, expiry and production dates, serial numbers, net weight, and more — alongside the raw decoded value.
LIVE SCANNING
Point the camera and scan continuously. Every distinct barcode found during a session is logged automatically, so you can review, copy, or open (for scanned links) any of them afterward, even ones no longer in frame.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Every barcode is decoded on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No image, photo, or decoded value is ever uploaded, transmitted, or stored on a server. There is no login, no tracking, and no analytics.
